Who we are
Paidbrook is run by Muhammad Ahmad Baba, an individual based in Nigeria, who is responsible for how your information is handled (the "data controller"). Contact: hello@paidbrook.com.
The free Overdue Invoice Rescue page
- The file or rows you add are read by the page inside your browser. They are not uploaded, stored or sent anywhere.
- The page is a set of plain files. Once it has loaded, it makes no network requests, and its security policy stops it from fetching or sending data to any server.
- There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
- Your name and payment details, if you type them in, are used only to fill in the email drafts on the page. They are gone when you close or reload it.
- Paidbrook never sends emails for you from this page. You copy each draft, or open it in your own email app, and send it yourself.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, receives each request for the page's files: your IP address, browser type, the time and the address requested, as with any website. Paidbrook does not use those records to identify visitors and has not switched on Cloudflare analytics or tracking.
The paid Rescue Pack
If you buy the done-for-you Rescue Pack, you send us your overdue-invoice list so we can prepare your chase plan. We use it only for that, a person reviews it, and we delete your file and the pack within 7 days of delivery, when the refund window closes. If no usable file reaches us within 30 days of payment, we refund you and delete anything you sent. You pay by card through Paystack, a payment processor; Paidbrook never sees your card details.
Your file reaches us by email: messages to hello@paidbrook.com are passed on by Cloudflare's email forwarding to a Google (Gmail) mailbox, which is also where we reply from. We delete the email, its attachment and the pack from that mailbox, including its sent and deleted items, on the same 7-day timetable.
We keep a record of each sale (your email address, business name, VAT number if given, the amount, the date and the payment reference) for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
We use your file because you asked us to prepare the pack (to perform our contract with you). The list may include your clients' names and contact details; we use them only to prepare your pack and never contact them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@paidbrook.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data-protection regulator where you live, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
